Pew Receives Grant for Public Libraries Study

Dresang receives IMLS grant for early literacy research

Eliza Dresang, Beverly Cleary Professor for Children and Youth Services and YALSA member, will build on her previous early literacy work with the Pierce County libraries, through a new $635,000 grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services. Matching funds bring the total project funding to more than $1.2 million.
